I am a grad student living in Manhattan. I have long been interested in science and technical application of creativity. After studying Neuroscience in college I continued on to a PhD program to continue pursuing my interest in this very young area of research.

The work that is the basis of my thesis is a project that investigates the efficacy of a novel treatment for multiple sclerosis. I am particularly intrigued by the possibility that this work may lead to a new therapy that could significantly alleviate the symptoms associated with the disease.  I have also been studying metaphysics, quantum theory, meditation, and spirituality in parallel for quite a while.

I am interested in integrating western (tangible) science/medicine with spirituality.  Initially I wish to further the exploration of human subtle energy and investigate the cloaked mechanisms of energy based healing techniques.  

Ultimately this merge would lead to a more rounded approach to healing, taking into account the status of the psyche, the physical body, and more transcendental (spritual) energy bodies. 

I think this will be one way to contribute to the collective understanding that we are not separate entities, but that we are actually all connected to one source.  There is much that can be accomplished by implementing this knowledge into our lives and healing is just the beginning.

Modern society obsessively devotes its attention to form (such as thought) and the material. The time has come  to once again find balance between form and the formless.  This alone will bring greater peace.
